In order to maintain a safe environment for everyone, all potential ruff life daycare dogs must:

• First attend and be approved through a scheduled two hour temperament test evaluation.
• Be at least 6 months of age. Puppies must have puppy plan shots completed before they can attend (veterinary proof needed)
  
• Be up to date on vaccinations; Rabies, Parvo, Distemper and Bordetella (veterinary proof needed)
  
• Have a negative parasite fecal showing your dog is free from parasites within 30 days of their first visit (veterinary proof needed)
• Be spayed or neutered by 8 months of age (veterinary proof needed)
  
• Be on a flea prevention and a heart worm prevention program
  
• Be in good health
  
• Be well socialized with people and dogs
  

Reservations/Cancellations:
For daycare, because we are limited with space, we do require reservation for daycare. Because we often have a waiting list for daycare, please cancel within 24 hours. Scheduled daycare not canceled within 24 hours, risks a charge to your account. For overnight boarding, we do require at least 72 hours advanced booking and 72 hours for cancelation. A deposit of 50% of the total visit is required to secure boarding reservations. If cancelation is within 72 hours of boarding, then the deposit will be forfieted. Bookings within 72 hours of boarding may not be available.

Hours of Operation:
Monday through Friday: 7a.m. to 7p.m.
Saturday: 10a.m to 5p.m.
Sunday: 11a.m. to 4p.m. (Sorry no daycare on Sundays. Sleepover pick-up and drop-off only)

Holiday Hours:
Christmas Eve (11am - 4pm no daycare)
Christmas Day (closed, but we will have overnight boarders)
New Year's Day (closed, but we will have overnight boarders)
Easter Saturday (11am - 4pm no daycare)
Easter Sunday (closed, but we will have overnight boarders)
Memorial Day (11am - 4pm no daycare)
4th of July (closed, but we will have overnight boarders)
Labor Day (11am - 4pm no daycare)
Columbus Day(11am - 4pm no daycare)
Thanksgiving Day (closed, but we will have overnight boarders)
Friday after Thanksgiving (11am - 4pm no daycare)
Saturday after Thanksgiving (11am - 4pm no daycare)

Health:
At the time of admission, all dogs must be in good health and free from communicable diseases or conditions that may potentially jeopardize the health of the other dogs. If your dog is vomiting or has diarrhea, please do not bring him/her to daycare or boarding. If your dog appears to be sick while at daycare or boarding, they will be separated from the group and expected to be picked up as soon as possible. If treatment is necessary, this will be at the owner's expense.

Medication and elderly care:
Please clearly label all medications including: your pet's name, type of medication, dosage and schedule. If your dog is elderly or has special needs, please let us know and we will advise if we can accommodate.
